SCOPE OF WORK : Package Design
LORE, a skincare brand driven by a commitment to providing the best possible skin and body care experience, approached our Design Journal with a unique challenge: to create packaging for their face moisturizer, cleanser, and toner range that reflected their brand ethos of authenticity, natural ingredients, and inclusivity. With a focus on catering to diverse skin needs while embracing sustainability and self-care, LORE sought packaging that would resonate with their target audience and communicate their brand values effectively.

We analyzed competing brands, studied market trends, and delved into consumer behaviors to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation. Through this process, we gained valuable insights into the preferences of skincare enthusiasts, including Gen Z and young adults who prioritize experiences and sustainability in their purchasing decisions.

Our team embarked on the ideation phase to conceptualize packaging that would capture LORE's brand essence and appeal to their target audience. Understanding the brand's emphasis on authenticity and natural ingredients, we aimed to create packaging that balanced a minimalist aesthetic with vintage-inspired elements.
After careful consideration, we decided to opt for a minimal white and gold packaging design with a twist. We introduced an ornate border with a hidden camomile flower motif. This subtle nod to the main ingredient used in LORE's skincare range not only added a touch of elegance but also created a sense of mystery and engagement with the customer, reflecting the brand's ethos of continuous discovery. The incorporation of gold accents added a touch of opulence, enhancing the overall premium feel of the packaging while maintaining gender neutrality.

The minimalist yet sophisticated design resonated with LORE's brand and target audience, aligning perfectly with their vision of providing a holistic skincare experience. The packaging proved to be instrumental in elevating LORE's brand perception and market presence. The incorporation of the chosen elements and a gender-neutral color palette not only differentiated LORE from competitors but also appealed to their target audience of skincare enthusiasts and experience-driven consumers.
